What should I do if I have a bad trip?

If you or someone is experiencing a bad trip: 1) Stay calm and remember that the effects are temporary and will pass. 2) Move to a quiet, comfortable, and safe environment. 3) Have a sober trip sitter provide calm reassurance. 4) Focus on slow, deep breathing. 5) Drink water. 6) Put on calming music. 7) Do not resist the experience — let it flow. 8) In case of severe distress or medical emergency, call 112 (Dutch emergency number).
