Sensemillia — Coffeeshop Amsterdam

Coffeeshop Sensemillia is Amsterdam's no-nonsense cannabis establishment that has been serving customers for an impressive 40 years since 1981. This veteran coffeeshop operates two strategic locations in Amsterdam: the original Osdorp (Nieuw-West) location at Meer en Vaart 177B, 1068 LA Amsterdam, and a central location at Gillis van Ledenberchstraat 135, 1052 VE Amsterdam. Known for their straightforward approach and local pricing, Sensemillia has built a solid reputation as one of Amsterdam's most enduring cannabis retailers.

While the website focuses primarily on location information and company history rather than detailed product listings, Sensemillia positions itself as offering "kwalitatief hoogwaardige producten" (high-quality products) at local prices. The coffeeshop emphasizes their knowledgeable staff who provide advice and share their expertise with customers. Their long-standing presence in Amsterdam's cannabis scene suggests a comprehensive range of cannabis products, though specific strains or product categories are not detailed on their main website pages.

Sensemillia's primary distinction lies in its remarkable 40-year legacy in Amsterdam's cannabis culture, making it one of the city's oldest operating coffeeshops. The Osdorp location holds special significance as the first coffeeshop visitors encounter when arriving from Schiphol Airport, situated beside Amsterdam's largest lake. Their no-nonsense philosophy, combined with "local prices" and an enthusiastic team that's "aardig voor aardige klanten" (nice to nice customers), creates an authentic Amsterdam coffeeshop experience. The proximity to quality dining options like Red Elephant Thai Food adds to the overall experience.

Sensemillia's website provides essential information in both Dutch and English, demonstrating their commitment to serving both locals and international visitors. The site features integrated Google Maps for easy navigation to both locations, comprehensive opening hours, and direct phone contact for each shop. Their Instagram presence (@coffeeshopsensemillia) keeps customers updated. The locations offer convenient access via major highways (A4, A9, A10, A5) with ample parking and excellent public transport connections, making visits hassle-free for all types of customers.
